I'm currently working at a consulting firm called g2o, where I lead various types of UX research projects using qualitative & quantitative methods across many different domains. In a previous life, I studied the principles babies use to learn and grow their understanding of the world (spoiler alert: it's fascinating). Studying babies has cursed me to a life of continual learning and growing.
Today, I apply those principles by growing:
Our team designed & built a progressive web application for a home building company that allowed customers to track the progress of their home's construction, as well as to keep track of the tasks required of them throughout the process. This research informed the high-level vision of the application and specific interaction design decisions.
View projectWe helped a military retail company discover how to improve life on base by facilitating co-design sessions with active duty military members. This research shaped the roadmap for a brand new mobile application for each military base.
View projectWe introduced design thinking to our client by taking them through a design research sprint. This work has enabled our client to spread design thinking to other business units, which has led to new opportunities for our company.
View projectWe helped a large regional bank prioritize which online banking features to build based on co-design sessions with actual customers. We also facilitated an ideation workshop to align the bank's UX team and Marketing team around a shared roadmap.
View projectWe helped the state of Ohio redesign the Foster Care & Adoption website. Although there was no budget for research, we figured out how to squeeze in some research to inform the redesign.
View projectWe helped a large regional bank determine how to create a wire transfer service for the digital era. We delivered a roadmap to guide them from quick fixes all the way to the ideal money movement process.
View projectWe conducted 3 rounds of evaluative research for a large regional bank. Topics for the research included ATM features, account comparisons, eStatement enrollment, & self-service credentials.
View projectI helped a non-profit in Chennai, India improve their internal processes. The research informed staffing decisions, database management, & creation of a tool to track student progress over time.
